Discover the “Tea Market”

I love tea and as some of you know, I make my own tea called Clovelly Tea (and a few others are coming). So I recently happened upon a little shop in the Crestwood Shops’ area of Kansas City called Tea Market and was thrilled with my new discovery.

It turned out to be much more than a tea shop. I had the pleasure to meet the owner, Stacie Robertson and she shared that the Tea Market is a hub for her “extended tribe and like-minded and curious friends to gather and exchange information and ideas, tips and successes on how to stay well, thrive and flourish naturally.” Stacie is a holistic health coach and tea specialist, as well as a plant based wellness educator.

The shop (which has been there for many years!) has over 100 whole leaf loose teas to choose from, or they will custom blend something just for you. Through the years they’ve added more and more organic options, more approachable retail tea bag products allowing them to introduce people to the world of tea. They also have lots of tea pots, tea accessories and plenty of other things to make a nice gift (I paired the Cupid’s Blend Tea with some little dark chocolate cookies for a couple of lovely Valentine’s Day gifts.)

Their journey into natural health led Stacie to incorporating other forms of plant based wellness into the shop, like essential oils and natural healing herbs. Everyone at Tea Market is passionately striving to live a healthy lifestyle, free of medications both prescription and over the counter. This drive in her own life, led her to develop her own proprietary line of Functional Wellness Teas and they have become some of the most popular teas in her shop.

The Tea Market also offers classes on a variety of wellness topics and they quarterly host a 5 course afternoon tea that is usually sold out months in advance.

I hope you have a chance to explore my discovery and visit the Tea Market; I only wish I had stopped by sooner!
